Navigating through the music world can be a crazy adventure. You can have many interesting interactions and relationships with musicians and fans while observing many different ways of exploring the creative medium of music. One thing that is sure is musicians are creative people who love to be around other creatives. Inspiration often happens in collaboration and community with like mindedness. And of course it’s fun to be around people who share your passions! The great thing about being in community with like minded people is that it is a very natural place to dialogue about life and spirituality. We’re all on a spiritual journey whether we believe in God or not and we all have a story to tell. Young musicians are just beginning to explore many things; music, creativity, relationships and even spirituality. It's becoming many young adults' dream to be a musician. But where can they go to explore this dream? 3rd Friday Rocks is the perfect place. It's a place where young musicians can have a musical outlet, learn and collaborate in an encouraging environment.

Open Mic Night!


We will be kicking back up on Friday August 21, with Open Mic Night at East Street Studios, 7-9pm. Email me at 3rdfridayrocks@gmail.com if you would like to perform. Open mic is a chance for you to share a song that you've been working on, bring your band, or whatever musical brainstorm you may have.
